Content Marketing Manager

Summary of the Role

 

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for content strategy, ensuring consistent delivery of brand personality, development of content and campaigns. This includes social media, paid social advertising, website, email marketing and digital brochures, working with copy, UGC, graphic design, images and branding.

 

Role and Responsibilities

 

·      Deliver content (copy, graphics, imagery) for all marketing channels working closely with design team, marketing colleagues and stores.

 

·      Manage brand’s Instagram account.

 

·      Manage all brand-related content on Facebook.

 

·      Write and upload content for company website and blogs.

 

·      Manage all Meta and Paid Social advertising - creating, implementing and overseeing multiple social ad campaigns, both with suppliers and Dawson and Sanderson own-brand.

 

·      Regularly review website content and make changes accordingly – updating offers, copy and banners.

 

·      Build a content strategy that matches our commercial plans and encourages customers to engage with our brand.

 

·      Proofread all marketing activity.

 

·      Ensure content is engaging, persuasive and best demonstrates our product, expertise and experience.

 

·      Ensure that USPs and brand identity are adhered to in all campaigns across all communication channels.

 

·      Look for channels and opportunities to further promote the Dawson and Sanderson brand.

 

·      Use industry news and competitor analysis to research and prioritise content ideas.

 

·      Refer to data and trends when planning content schedule.

 

·      Work with wider marketing team to improve key metrics.

 

·      Work with sales teams to generate unique offers and destination content.

 

·      Work across the business to come up with innovative campaign ideas that will:

 

-       Drive new bookings

-       Drive interest in our products

-       Generate profitable sales

-       Generate supplier marketing funding or exclusives.

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

·      Impeccable written English

 

·      Experience in Social Media Management

 

·      Experience in Paid Social advertising, specifically Meta, using Ads Manager

 

·      Ability to manage workload, prioritise and delegate

 

·      Experience in - and a passion for - writing good quality, persuasive and creative copy

 

·      Experience of working in the travel industry or a keen interest in travel is desirable, but not necessary

 

·      A good eye for detail and a creative mind

 

·      Must enjoy working in a driven and high-pressure environment

 

·      Experience of managing content in a professional capacity

 

·      Experience in using Illustrator is desirable, but not necessary

 

·      Experience in using Content Management Systems

 

·      Experience using Canva
